Copy and paste the tube onto your canvas as a new layer.
Duplicate and close off the copy.
With the original tube your active layer apply the drop shadow you used earlier.
Go to Effects > Plug ins > Eyecandy 3 > Perspective shadow.
Apply with the same settings as you used previously.
You should now have something like this.
In your layers palette highlight the cards layer. Set your text to these settings:
Set your foreground to a silver gradient with the following settings;
(I used Metal Steel which is default in PSP 8 but any silver gradient you like is fine).
Set your background colour to #731110.
Apply your name using capitals.
Pull out the vector nodes so that your text stretches to about the full width of the shadow on the cards layer.
Now we want to make the name look as though it is flat to the floor.
To do this hold your shift key down and left click on the top left vector node;
Keep your mouse key held down and move the node towards the center of the tag.
Do the same thing to the node on the other side of the text then pull out the nodes at the bottom.
If you have overlapped the cards layer then simply drag the center node down.
Once you have the text looking like you want it to convert to a raster layer.
The following steps we repeat a few times so I will number them for you.
If you do not have Eyecandy 4 you can get a similar effect using eyecandy 3 > Glow. Set the glow width to 2, the opacity to 100 and the drop off to Fat.
Apply with these settings and white as the glow colour:
2. Repeat gradient glow with the same settings.
3. Repeat once more but this time change the glow colour to #731110
4. Repeat the drop Shadow you used earlier.
Activate your text tool again and apply your name a few times with these settings;
Move the text down and use the vector nodes to stretch it to fit along the bottom edge of your first text layer.
When you are happy with the positioning convert it to a raster layer.
Repeat the above Gradient Glow and Drop Shadow steps.
Make the copy of the tube layer visible. Repeat the Gradient Glow and Drop Shadow steps.
