For this tutorial you will need the following supplies;

Paint Shop Pro (This tut done in version 8 but easily adapted for other versions.) trial version available here

Muras Meister Copies here.

Mask here.

Two images, a render and font of your choice.

I used the awesome artwork of Johnnie Grez for this tutorial.

I also used the amazing artwork of Darren Hiles for the render in this tag. Please visit his website here. If you do not have a licence to use Darrens Renders you can use on of my renders here or here. You can purchase a licence to use both of these incredible artists work, please visit CILM Here

Open new image 500 x 500 with a transparent background.

Floodfill with white.

Add a new raster layer.

Open your render up in psp and select a part that you would like to use as your pattern.

In your materials palette use the drop down box and locate the image you chose. Set as pattern.

Add a new raster layer and floodfill with the pattern.

Making sure you are on your render layer go to Layers > Load/Save Mask > Load Mask from Disk.

Locate mask MDMask215 in the drop down box and apply with these settings;

Open the main image and copy. Paste as a new layer and position centrally on the canvas.

You want the image to fit nicely in the center of the tag.

Take your freehand selection tool with the following settings;

Click around the image in the center - it doesn't have to be exact!

When you join it up the selected area will expand. Go to Selections > Invert.

Hit your delete button a few times until you get a soft blended effect. Move the feathered tube up towards the top of the image.

Now, open up the other image you chose.

Resize it to approx 100 x 100 pixels and add a border of 4 pixels in a darker contrasting colour.

Copy and paste the bordered image onto your main canvas.

Position centrally low down on your canvas and go to Muras Copies. Apply these settings;

Apply the following drop shadow;

Take your freehand selection tool with the same settings as before and draw around the band of images you just created.

Selections > Invert. Hit delete a couple of times to get the blended look again.

Add your © Info and always remember to check if the artist allows their work to be mixed in this way!

Now we add our name to the tag.

I used Bank Gothic for my example, set at 48 and applied a gradient glow.

Save as a Jpeg and you are done!
