Open new image 500 x 500 with a transparent background.

Floodfill with white.

Copy and paste your tube onto the new canvas as a new layer. Duplicate the tube layer.

On the original layer got to Effects > Distortion Effects > Twirl.

Apply twirl at 180 degrees.

Dupicate your twirl layer.

Image > Mirror.

In the layer palette make the mirrored layer the active one and right click.

Merge > Merge Down.

Duplicate the Merged Layer and hide the duplicate.

Make the original merged layer the active one.

Effects > Plug-ins > Toadies > Blast n Blur.

X Effect = 41
Y Effect = 33

Rename this layer Blurred and lower the opacity to around 62.

Make the copy of the merged layer visible and active.

Effects > Distortion Effects > Wave.

Apply with these settings;

Duplicate this layer and resize the duplicate by 85% with bicubic resample, all layers unchecked.

Duplicate the copy and repeat resize.

Close off all layers except the waved ones and merge visible, rename wave. Make all your layers visible.

Lower the opacity of the wave layer to around 72.

Make your tube layer active and apply a drop shadow. I used vertical and horizontal set at 2, opacity set to 50 and blur set to 3 with black as my shadow colour.

Time to add your text.

Set your text tool to vector with line width set to 2 and select two complimentary colours from your tube for the fore and backgrounds.

I used Times New Roman for my name text.

Apply your name.

Go to Image > Rotate > Free Rotate and rotate by 90 degrees to the left with rotate single layer around canvas checked.

Use the nodes on the vector box to pull your text to fit to the tube. When you are happy with the placement convert to a raster layer and move the text layer below the tube layer in the layer palette.

Add an inner bevel and repeat the drop Shadow.

Add your © info and your watermark if you use one and save as a jpeg.
