For this tutorial you will need the following supplies;

Paint Shop Pro (This tut done in version 8 but easily adapted for other versions.) trial version available here

My Supplies (these include my mask, my accents and my brush) here

A tube and font of your choice ~ I used the artwork of Nolan Worthington for the examples in this tut. Please visit his website here

You must purchase a licence to use Nolan's artwork. Please visit AMI for further information. Lets start!

Put the mask in your masks folder and install the brush. Open all the supplies in psp including the tube you have chosen to use.

Open a new image 500 x 500 and floodfill with white.

Name this layer background.

Add a new raster layer and choose a dark colour from your tube. Floodfill with your colour.

Go to Layers > Load/Save Mask > Load Mask from Disk.

Locate sweetmask9 in the drop down menu and apply with these settings;

Delete the mask layer and say yes to the pop up box. Merge group.

Set your stroke to pattern and sweetpattern1 ~ Angle 0 and scale 100.

Add a new raster layer and floodfill with the pattern.

Apply the mask again with the same settings. Delete the mask layer and merge group. Go to Image > Rotate > Free Rotate. Rotate by 30 degrees with rotate single layer around canvas checked.

Add the accents ~ you can use the ones I supplied or ones of your own! Position them towards the bottom of the canvas.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer. Resize it to fit and position centrally on the tag.

Add the following Drop Shadow;

Set your stroke to the colour you used for the first mask layer and your fill to null. Grab your preset shapes tool and find the default heart shape, change the settings to this;

Draw out a large heart in the centre of the canvas.

When you are happy with the size and placement of the heart convert it to raster layer and move it below the tube layer in your layers palette.

Apply the following Inner Bevel to the heart;

Take your magic wand and click once on the inside of the heart and then holding your shift key down click once on the outside of the heart.

Selections > Invert.

Highlight the tube layer and erase the area around one of her ankles where the marching ants show.

You can miss this part out if it doesn't suit the tube you chose, I thought it looked cool though!

Selections > Select None.

Go back to the accent layers and bring them to the top of the layer palette.

Add a new raster layer.

Select the paintbrush tool and locate the brush I supplied in the drop down box. Apply it once on the new raster layer somewhere near the centre of the image.

I have included the wordart image in the supplies zip in case you want to install as a brush from PSP.
You can use any brush you like or just type the words in.

Once you are happy with the way everything looks, merge all visible.

Go to Image > Resize. Resize by 75% with bicubic resample all layers unchecked.

Add a new raster layer, floodfill with white and send it to the bottom.

Highlight the image layer and apply the following Drop Shadow;

Take your Preset Shape tool again and set back to heart if it is no longer set. Change the line width to 2 and use the same colour you used for the big heart as your Stroke and the Fill set to null.
Draw out a smaller heart up at the top right of the tag layer. Use the centre vector node to rotate the heart slightly to the right. Convert to raster layer.

Apply the same inner bevel you applied to the large heart. Duplicate once and on the duplicated heart layer go to Image > Mirror. Take the mover tool and arrange the duplicated heart below the other heart.

***

Activate the original heart layer and with the magic wand click once inside the heart.

Selections > Modify > Expand. Expand by 1 pixel.

Go back to the original tube you used and copy it. Paste it onto your tag as a new layer and move it under the marching ants with the area you want to appear inside the heart positioned inside the marching ants.

Go to Selections > Invert.
Make sure the tube layer is the active one and hit delete once. Deselect.
Move the Tube layer you just put on below the heart layer in the layers palette and lower the opacity to around 30.
***

Repeat the steps between the *** for the second heart layer.

Close off the white background layer and the merged tag layer and merge the two hearts and tube selections together.

Make all the layers visible.
Duplicate the merged heart layer and go to Image > Mirror.

Position the two heart layers at either side of the tag layer keeping them inside the inner square. When you are happy with how they look reduce the opacity of each heart layer to around 46.

Crop off any excess white area around the tag taking care not to crop into the drop shadow.

Merge all visible.

Select your font.

I used Saffron Too.

Apply your text with the following settings;

Using the center node rotate the text slightly to the left so that it runs at an angle across the tag. Convert to raster layer and add the same inner bevel we used earlier and the following Drop Shadow;

Add in your © Info and your watermark if you use one.

Resize the tag to suit your taste and save as a jpeg.
