This Tutorial is written in memory of Jacqui who died of this illness 18th July 2005 aged 32. Rest well my friend.
Ok lets do this.
Open a new image 500 x 260 and floodfill with white.
Add a new raster layer.
Select one of the seamless tiles from the playset. I used number one. Paste it as a new image.
Set your foreground to pattern and the pattern to the tile you chose.
Floodfill your new raster layer with the pattern.
Go to Selections > Select All.
Selections > Modify > Contract.
Contract by 30 pixels.
Hit Delete once.
Selections > Select None.
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow.
Add the following drop Shadow.
Repeat the drop shadow with the horizontal and vertical values set to minus 1.
Add a new raster layer.
Move this new layer down in between the white and pink layers.
Close off the pink frame layer.
Set your text tool to the following;
With your background colour set to #D05A76 type the words "Breast Cancer Awareness" onto the new layer.
Rotate the text using the center node.
Once you are happy with the placement of the text convert it to a raster layer.
Move the text into the top left hand corner and duplicate. Move the duplicated layer down and to the left. Duplicate again. and move this layer along so the text looks as if it is repeating.
Continue doing this until you have filled the canvas with text.
Close off the white background layer.
Merge all layers and lower the opacity of the text down to around 84.
Make your pink frame and white layer visible again.
Go back to your playset and select one of the frames.
Copy the frame and paste onto your tag as a new layer.
Resize by 75% Bicubic Resample, all layers unchecked.
Move it over to the far left of the inner frame.
Duplicate.
Image > Mirror.
Back on your playset select a different frame for the center.
Copy and paste this as a new layer and resize by 75%.
Reposition the three frames if you need to.
You should have something similar to this;
Close off your merged background layer and your pink frame layer. Merge the three frames together.
Lower the opacity of the frames layer to around 82.
